The Black Dragon | Daemon I Blackfyre

House Targaryen is the well-known rescued family from the old Valyria. They have escaped Valyria because of the dream one of the Targaryen family members has seen regarding the Doom of Valyria. The other dragon-loads have believed House Targaryen feared rumors and they believed it was cowardly. However, in the end, House Targaryen was the only dragon-load family who survived from the Doom.

With the coronation of the Aegon, the Targaryen family took every right to rule the Westeros. Centuries to centuries the crown has passed to Targaryens even without peacefully inside the house.

Today's topic is about a house that started its bloodline from the House Targaryen. And the founder of this House Blackfyre.

Aegon IV "Aegon the Unworthy" and Princess Daena Targaryen were the parents of this Daemon Blackfyre. Daemon was a bastard son of  "Aegon the Unworthy" and the reason for this Blackfyre surname thus the Valyrian steel of "Balckfyre" which was wielded by the conquer is the tradition of transferring the same with the succession. However, once Aegon IV had a chance to transfer the sword he chose it to hand it over to his bastard son Daemon instead of transferring the same to his true-born son Daeron Targaryen. The name of Daemon was Demon Waters before however once they initiated the house Blackfyre he renamed himself, the other valuable part of his name is "Daemon" We know the greatest personality of Daemon Targaryen has two male children from Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen is Viserys II and Aegon III. The mother of Daemon Blackfyre Princess Daena was a child of Aegon III and the father of Daemon Blackfyre Aegon IV was a child of Daemon Targaryen's other son Viserys II. Thus this special character has the pure bloodline of Daemon Targaryen without any doubts.

King Aegon IV arranged for Daemon to be wed to Rohanne of Tyrosh. Later, Daemon's supporters would assert that Daemon had wanted to wed his younger half-sister, Daenerys, rather, and that King Aegon had promised Daemon that he could have more than one wife because he wanted the marital alliance with Tyrosh. Aegon IV legitimized all of his bastards in 184 AC while he was dying; those born to noblewomen, including Daemon.

Ser Eustace Osgrey refers to Daemon as a prince at this point, suggesting that he has been given the title of prince; however, Ser Eustace was one of Daemon's supporters, so this could simply be Ser Eustace expressing his respect for Daemon rather than Daemon receiving the title of prince. Following Aegon's demise, Daeron II Targaryen, Daemon's trueborn half-brother, assumed the throne. He forbade Daemon from taking more than one bride, paid the payment his late father had given to the Archon of Tyrosh, and witnessed Daemon marry Rohanne in the early years of 184 AC. On the day of their wedding, he gave him a plot of land close to the Blackwater with the right to build a castle.

Rohanne and Daemon had a fruitful union. Aegon and Aemon, their identical sons, were born later that year. Five other sons and at least two girls were born after them.
