What is the best House Targaryen reign?

You inquired, I think, about which King had the greatest reign.

and Jaehaerys is the response.

The fourth Targaryen King to sit on the Iron Throne was Jaehaerys I Targaryen, also referred to as the Conciliator, the Wise, and the Old King. He came to the throne in 48 AC following the death of his usurping uncle, Maegor I Targaryen the Cruel. He was the son of King Aenys I and Queen Alyssa Velaryon. Jaehaerys held the throne for a prosperous fifty-five years, making him the longest-reigning Targaryen monarch. Riding Vermithor, the largest dragon in the world after Balerion and Vhagar, he was a dragon rider.

After Maegor died mysteriously and his allies fled, Jaehaerys became King with the aid of various people, including his future stepfather, Lord Rogar Baratheon. He wed Queen Alysanne Targaryen, his younger sister, who was known as the Good Queen Alysanne for her distinct and endearing personality. Only nine of their thirteen children lived to adulthood; their union was happy and productive, and they remained together until Alysanne's death at Dragonstone in 100 AC. This marriage caused a brief uprising.

Jaehaerys is known as the Old King because he was the Targaryen king with the longest reign. The Targaryen monarchy had great prosperity throughout his reign, which also brought justice, stability, and peace to the Seven Kingdoms. The Archmaesters claim that during Jaehaerys' rule, the population of Westeros from Winterfell to Dorne doubled, with King's Landing seeing a fourfold increase in population. In the Riverlands, Jaehaerys even succeeded in bringing about a truce that would hold for fifty years, not much longer than his own rule. This peace was between House Bracken and House Blackwood.

Throughout their lives, he and Alysanne embarked on epic adventures and explored every corner of Westeros; Jaehaerys was the first Targaryen King to set foot in the Wall and the North, and Alysanne was the driving force behind the creation of the Queensgate, the "New Gift" given to the Night's Watch in her honor. In addition, Jaehaerys constructed the Great King's Roads. Riding atop Vermithor, he and his sons Baelon and Aemon swiftly put an end to the Fourth Dornish War, making history's only king to win a war without losing a single person. He also performed a number of other notable achievements, such as the Reform of King's Landing, which involved establishing food, sanitation, and patrol systems; and the Abolition of the Lord's Right to the First Night, an action that was greatly admired by his citizens. Regretfully, the last being to witness Old Valyria and the dragon of his ancestor Aegon I, Balerion the Black Dread, passed away in 94 AC during his reign.

Many historians and laypeople rank King Jaehaerys as the greatest (and baddest) of the Targaryen Kings, even better than King Aegon I the Conqueror and King Daeron II the Good. At the age of sixty-nine, he passed away at King's Landing in 103 AC, having remained virtuous and enlightened till the end. Viserys I Targaryen, his grandson, ascended to the Iron Throne after his Grand Council of 101 was called to order.

What does "the dragon has three heads" actually mean?

What does "the dragon has three heads" actually mean? Source : Google Well, the most thrown-out answer to what people think it means is that the three-headed dragon refers to Aegon the Conqueror and his sister-wives. Prince Rhaegar, on the other hand, seems to have interpreted it as needing three Targaryen children in order to fulfill a prophecy. Others think it simply means needing three dragonriders. However, I think everyone in truth is misinterpreting the actual meaning of House Targaryen’s sigil, and, in the Targaryen’s case, they have forgotten the meaning of their own words: Fire and Blood Let's be clear: there is no such thing as a three-headed dragon, at least not physically, so it doesn't simply refer to Aegon and his two sister-wives. No, the three-headed dragon refers to the dragonbond, as do the words of House Targaryen, fire and blood. I am a proponent of the Lemur theory. The idea is that the dragonbond is similar to skin-changer magic in that there is ...
