The other dragon-loads have believed House Targaryen feared rumors and they believed it was cowardly. However, in the end, House Targaryen was the only dragon-load family who survived from the Doom. With the coronation of the Aegon, the Targaryen family took every right to rule the Westeros. Centuries to centuries the crown has passed to Targaryens even without peacefully inside the house.  Daemon Targaryen Source : Fortress The most badass character who is in the TV show in House of the dragon, being the son of Baelon Targaryen and receive no rights to iron throne as he is the second son. Daemon was very attached to his family and real love shown to his brother the king Viserys I Targaryen. When the throne is in problem daemon always there to help his brother and he had a visionary thinking of identifying thereat of the kingdom. He was the first heir to the iron throne since the King Viserys has no male heirs until king named his first born female heir (Rhaenyra Targaryen), daemon losses his all rights after that incident however he never do anything to harm Rhaenyra to get his rights back. The mountain (Gregor Clegane) had his commands from the tywin lanister to kill them and according to the statement of the maester of night's watch (Aemon Targaryen II) the children were slaughter by the mountain.    Even the story mentioned as this happened, what if the mountain had a no chance to kill targaryen childrens...?
